what do yall think about differences between synthetic and organic psychedelics (if any)? in particular, are plant or fungal psychedelics more relatable? do they seem to have more personality? curious about people's subjective experiences (and also ideological beliefs)

acid ime has quite a bit of personality in some sense but i would hesitate to describe it as a *person* exactly. acid strikes me very strongly as a *place*, to which i travel and in which i have sometimes left things i need to retrieve later

theres a wonderful passage in art kleps actually where he says that, while friends he respects deeply encourage people to ask “who am i” when tripping, he has always found it more instructive to ask “where am i” reading that changed my life
