slowly painstakingly learning that if i feel overwhelmed by having like 15 things on my plate i can literally just lie down and not-look-at-a-screen and wait - for over an hour if necessary - until one of the things feels doable and then do it

I was/ sort of still am in a similar situation with tasks I have committed to and think I know how it feels. For me focusing on one task at a time till completion and incorporating some form of exercise as a release works well.
