(wistfully) i would like to somehow have a way to make money drop-in with no commitment doing something relatively concrete, like show up somewhere and idk chop wood for a day and get paid for it. i think that would feel very refreshing compared to what i normally do

Find somewhere to volunteer. Food pantries, trail builds, homeless shelters, tutoring, immigrant/refugee general assistance are the kinds of things on my radar locally right now
