oh the doors i remember these doors! the font and the color scheme and the thingy on the bottom that shows you how it opens

holy crap i wasn’t sure if it would work but i tried retracing the steps of the walk home. this is the first house i ever lived in in the states

and this is the house of the neighbor kid who i only went over to his house because he had a playstation and an N64 so i could play mario kart and twisted metal 4

hmm. this is elementary school #2 or 3 or 4 (i might’ve gone jere twice?), these monkey bars look really familiar but i’m not 100% confident which is frustrating

devastating. this is elementary school #4 or 5 and i was expecting the strongest recess memories here but it looks like they remodeled the school *and* moved the playground? there used to be a big slope downhill here to where the playground equipment was 😢

My mom tells me a story of vivid memories she has of running down a specific huge hill at a park when she was a young child. She went back as an adult and the hill was nearly imperceptible. Childhood is weird.
