one thing that has become glaringly clear to me in the last couple years is the way institutions and conspiracy theories co-constitute one another, like ego and shadow.
rejected parts of our collective psyche tend to fester, leading to further rejection and further pathology.

There’s an analogy to this idea that “the downtrodden are evidence that the local victory is too local.”
It’s not that suppressing ideas isn’t short-term necessary in some cases, but it’s always a sign that we’re caught in a local maximum, and therefore vulnerable.

And there’s always remaining violence that gets obscured/sacralized, because we don’t yet know how to subsume that violence within the scope of “solved problems”/truth.
