the mind needs to forget it to some degree so you can appreciate other inferior cities

Budapest was the first city I visited outside Sweden, as a university student, and when I came home I was like wtf I can just move there??? So I went and lived on Dohány utca in district 7 for a few months and it was amazing

I never had the confidence to do that kind of thing when I was younger (and had freedom of movement)
