ah, odin didn’t work like the others, you didn’t summon him! once you passed his trial he would show up at the beginning of a battle or not at his leisure. far be it from me to give him orders

sadly there’s a boss battle where, if you have odin, he will be killed. but he is avenged by gilgamesh, who replaces him for the rest of the game, and gilgamesh can occasionally kill bosses which odin can’t
