Technique based practice can improve the core moves of integration work such that integration work doubles or more in speed. People are bottle-necked differently though.
More generally, there's something really screwy going on with skill cultivation in the west.

I've been bouncing it around in convos with friends and it is hard to articulate. Something like school is teaching pervasive helplessness such that there's this cluster of nastiness around not being able to identify important skills or believe that spending an hour a day on them

for a month would be possible and actually result in a permanent improvement. Something broken about scaffolding skills for oneself in the absence of formal structures already socially recognized. Trained obsequiousness to official things.
