having my mind blown by this rn. if i suppress my sense of my own gender when talking to a woman then i'm not located in gender space so she can't see me in gender space and if i suppress my sense of *her* gender i can't see *her* in gender space either

gender is where you're standing, orientation is where you're facing

suggested on a call that while talking i maintain awareness of my gender and my voice noticeably dropped lower and got sexier if this + maintaining awareness of a woman's gender when i talk to her are the only things left in my way i'm gonna shit a brick

haha when i learned how to talk to the rationalists i degenerated myself and everybody i was talking to because minds are genderless i wonder if that had any downstream effects at all on my ability to flirt

i was labeling this voice my "frat voice" b/c i used to use it a lot more often in college when i hung out with my frat brothers all the time and that's how we brought it up last time but this time the same thing happened from this stay-aware-i'm-a-man move *only*

Imo, gender is a low resolution proxy of behavior. You should only have to stay aware of it until ppl get to know you. After that it should fade into background unless it becomes directly pertinent to the situation A fixation on gender out of context can smtimes signal wounding
