people who have done a lot of Gendlin focusing: i notice when i am trying to contact + express/articulate a felt sense it's 100x easier when i close my eyes. i would like to be able to do this with eyes open/while making eye contact. is this possible? any suggestions?

an exercise they led us through at AMP: make eye contact, place 100% of attention on other person for say 30s, then 100% of attention on self, then even split

if the most salient feeling is however you feel about what you’re seeing then that’s the one that needs attention first i think
