alright so, it is time. this is going to be a long, winding, rambling thread. i posted yesterday about demons existing and this interesecting with the world of psychedelia. ive posted about this in the past a little and there is always a huge response, people are very into it.

I’ve had this conversation with my mom many times. She’s convinced that any form of spiritual practice outside of the Catholic Church may open you up to demonic influences. After my first psychedelic experiences I told her “the only demons I know are all in my own head”.

that's also been my experience so far but i'm pretty willing to believe other people have encountered entities that are very clearly not-them there's a kind of like "stepping out into the spiritual wilderness." a land of great danger but also opportunity

Tulpas imply you can run all sorts of software on your hardware. The most general advice I know of is to practice metta, it acts as demon repellent.
