dunno, the thread takes an interesting turn "why do so many people so consistently have nightmares where they describe being raped", then instead of considering the plausible realist take, which is maybe more people have been raped than talk about it, veers to antirealism.

there just aren't any good justifications for why a spiritual unreal agent would have special interest in your butthole instead of hurting you in any other possible way; there's lots of parts of the body that can bring more pain and violation (kidney stones come to mind)

finally, the whole thing just ends as bland traditional christian-apocrypha: "all the world knows this bad bad stinky stinky phenomena, even the scientists with their science-boxes, but in the end, only super-man, i mean goku, i mean the name of j*s*s chr*st can save you"

tl:dr; it's a campfire story told by a christian youth minister who is torn between being 'hip and with it' & ending every sentence using the lord's name at least twice

i think this is probably too uncharitable. i'm willing to credit that e.g. the thing about using christian prayer etc. to get alien abduction experiences to stop happening is likely real, in that people really had those experiences. similar to this:
