The ‘tech’ thing kills me
i’ve been losing my ability to stomach “psychotechnology” as well, but it doesn’t hit quite the same… idk, let’s call it “psychic brown note” that tech does

this whole thread makes me a little sad. not the tech thing specifically but this sense i’m having that you’ve… given up on a kind of collaboration that i think is still very much on the table?
i don’t think there’s such a thing as a tpot heretic because i don’t think there’s really a canon in the sense of things you have to believe to be “included.” i am happy and excited to see many diverse opinions on tpot topics, it all seems v much up in the air to play with, to me

strong passionate disagreements strike me as a good sign of health, i’d be much more worried if everyone appeared to agree about everything

ftr i’m specifically talking about the tech thing and am (obvs?) so here for all the collaborative learning up in this piece with peeps that have way diff perspectives than me

Yeah, I'm with people on the problems of the tech bit partly because it seems to me to just be reifying the same kind of enlightenment sensibility that's created the problems we need spirituality to deal with better in the first place
