Thank you for saying this. I've spent most of my career ashamed of the fact that I am a maximalist filmmaker (connected to my, until recently, undiagnosed ADHD). I admired and envied the minimalist masters (like kogonada) but knew I could never have the confidence to do it.

I absolutely believe these sorts of things are happening at scale all the time. (And also I think we are collectively getting better at noticing the fractal nature of all themes, and that this is easiest to see in things that are both spiritual and psychadelic.)
