hmm okay guys it's really starting to seem like i have some kind of moderately serious gut health issue. IBS or something? i burp a lot and my gut often feels bloated / swollen / distended. anyone have recommendations for what keywords to search for to find a specialist?

hoping to find someone who's moderately "integrative" / "naturopathic" b/c i know IBS is linked to anxiety which i definitely have had plenty of, so i'd want to talk to someone who is comfortable with the emotional side of things also

craniosacral therapist said i likely fell on my tailbone hard at some point (ice skating?) and it compressed my intestines together which could also contribute to gut issues? which makes sense but was not at all on my radar as a kind of problem a person could have 😅

Heyo, lookup SIBO, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. The gas and bloating points to this. Find a naturopath and do a breathe test to see if you have an overgrowth in ur gut. Gl and hit me questions if you want

Also have had some luck with the Curable app for stress related illness. Think there’s a free trial. Worth checking out
also re: cutting out garlic and onions helping, the most often I've heard abt that is in the context of "SIBO"
