Made art for Bicycle Day yesterday! April 19th 1943, the first LSD Trip was taken by Albert Hofmann, the Swiss chemist who first synthesized it. Its called Bicycle Day because the effects started during his bicycle ride home from the lab. Unfortunately it wasnt an easy ride 1/🌈

I'm really glad you like it! I tried to do it somewhat in the style of a psychedelic poster. With the very graphic lines and flat blocks of gradient color. Not my usual mode, & I think I didn't nail it (the lines arent quite the right style?) But good practice & I enjoyed it

Nice :) yeah I think they need more width variation and more texture (stippling and hatching) ideally, but it def gets the job done. I couldnt spend forever on it, but it gave me a lot of insight for the future
