i didn't get around to tweeting about this because so many other things have been happening but i did 2 sessions of craniosacral therapy on 's recommendation with 2 different therapists and holy crap it's good. torso noticeably less tense overall

i normally hold a lot of chronic tension in my ribs, diaphragm, and shoulders and each of those things is like... maybe 40%ish better, it's kinda hard to quantify b/c it's not static but it all feels easier to relax via stretching eg. looking forward to 3rd appointment thursday

I’m heading to Sedona for craniosacral training with @joespurpleshirt, and on the plane I’m reading this pre-reading
I expected it to be dry, like a textbook
Nope! calls to me so much

I read a bunch of the book page images there – so much of it raises flags for woo... but that doesn't mean it doesn't help.
"All models are wrong" and in my mind woo ≈ "very wrong model which is probably useful".

It's got me thinking about other methods and modalities to try, and wondering whether craniosacral therapy offers something different.
Skilled hands can release a lot of tension and it sounds like a gentle way of doing that.
