wondering if there’s an opportunity to get ahead of “no seed oils” as a diet trend. i wouldn’t be surprised if it blows up over the next 5-10 years. maybe an opportunity to start a restaurant or some kind of snack food business?

just looked up the mealsquares ingredients, they say they’re 99% gluten free, 99% lactose free, and looks like no seed oils, just coconut and olive oil. might buy some for the first time in awhile 🤔

Technically, there is seed oil in the sunflower seeds themselves, though my own best guess is that the heavy vitamin e content of sunflower seeds (part of the reason for their inclusion) prevents oxidation at the mild temps we bake at (vs dry roasting, I avoid dry roasted nuts).
