I stayed about same vividness till late high school, then lost it through a series of acute traumas and NOW IT’S KINDA BACK 😍 it’s cool to have conscious memories of before - during - after, they’re wildly different qualia

I would love to, I’ve planted the seed 🌿 it’ll take a bit to write out, stay tuned. I can list the events that narrowed my sensory bandwidth tho: moving from my childhood land & friends to college, losing my best friend and deepest attachment figure, each of my first 5 breakups

oh and also a near-death experience and an abusive relationship, but honestly those are more ‘societally recognized’ as being acute traumas, so if anything they feel less relevant, bc they’re less isolating
