I think he will increase the learning rate of the company. Twitter is far from where it needs to go so turning up the learning rate is good. It’s also too bulky so cutting down will help Immediate free speech discourse is smaller thing compared to learning rate increase imo

Are you saying you think Musk buying Twitter would be good for the platform? I think exactly the opposite. His vision of "free speech" actually means the speech of people with money overwhelms everyone else.

It’s been famous in silicon valley for being a slothy dead place to work at as long as I can remember? 5-10yrs Turning it into a place where most employees are passionate about making it incredible and are willing to trade their life working for that will be transformative

Though free speech is definitely an issue too. All my smartest friends censor themselves immensely, only sharing their best ideas with peers bc afraid to do publicly. This wildly increases inequality, ideas nepotism and information flow elitism is bad. Twitter > dinner parties

I’m slightly confused by whether u meant job application or application on top of twitter, especially given nicks reply to your tweet qc in any case… The amazing twitter revolution will prob not happen, the company is a swamp internally
