enable all the notification mute options (linked in another reply), mute the thread itself if necessary, remember that all those people are basically talking to their projections and don’t know you at all, maybe go for a walk. good luck 🙏

thank you ❤️ i just stopped reading my notifications at some point yesterday and still feel a little hesitant about blocking/muting, but i suppose i'll have to. it helps to hear other people have struggled with it, though!

oh no what, that’s terrible, i’m sorry to hear that! glad you managed to shake it off, and that reminds me take my own reaction a bit more seriously instead of just pushing it down was that caused by a specific tweet/tweets or the general growth of your account?

it was a specific tweet (you can search for it by doing a min_faves search for my tweets, it's my most popular tweet). there were (online) newspaper articles, at least one in chinese. i had to close my DMs because i got literally a hundred people asking me for money
