I’ve been paying attention to this more, when people talk about what they want, their sense of purpose, their desires, etc, It’s weird. People are weird about soul.

But even more so than emotions, it seems like soul, purpose, desire can be even harder to *recognize* or *allow* in ourselves, let alone express to others.

maybe at each level of the vulnerability ladder it becomes more painful to find out whether your thing is different from other people's different thoughts, different bodies, different feelings, different purposes

we weren't meant to do any of this stuff alone i think. purposes and missions were meant to be shared. i feel profoundly isolated in some sense when i reflect on how different mine are from most people's (not everyone's thankfully)
