record as many ways as you can; edit together later (& you can always throw stuff away, never go back & record more if you decide you want it) so like you could start w: • obs recording the zoom call (w video) • your phone recording you in HD • their phone recording them

Using a headset or external mic makes a huge difference in audio quality. YT is fine but if you plan to have a series, setting up a feed so that people can subscribe to your podcast via their fav app would be good (this is how I listen to the majority of podcasts).
