tried leave-in conditioner for the first time
was expecting it to be gross since I was told not to over-condition my hair as a teenager
nope it looks incredible and feels great and I can't believe it's taken me this long

i have perhaps an extremely bachelor question but. what does conditioner actually do? no one’s ever told me

It makes your hair all glossy and full bodied!

Makes the surface of the hair shaft smooth, moisturizes it, strengthens it.
Result: shinier, more reflective, less frizz (annoying little torn bits), sleeker, hangs and moves better, less tangly, richer color.
