btw if anyone’s wondering why i start all my polls with “poll:” it’s for searchability. afaik there’s no search option for polls only. The More U Know

IIRC third-party Twitter clients have no way to display or even detect polls, so instead they rely on heuristics like “poll:” to guess whether they should show a link to the poll on Twitter’s website.

totally this for me - my phone twitter can't display polls which is largely fine except for the part where sometimes people ask a question and I respond earnestly with a full tweet reply that is clearly just an answer in the poll I could have clicked on desktop
