wow, i don't think i almost ever feel sensory overwhelm sober. occasionally on acid and a little after burning man or week-long silent retreats at best 🧐

in a sense you could say that I'm *not* exactly sober, like, when you spin in circles and then you stop, going off 15 years of stimulants is a rollercoaster ride just standing still

as a child i used to pride myself on being able to listen to fire alarms without feeling anything in particular about them 😅
