🚭 diaries, day 9?
one of the things that is troubling me, that hopefully will go away, is that I'm having difficulty reading. specifically, I can read one word after another, that's not a big deal, but it's really that my field of vision feels expanded and I can't seem to focus

as before, i'm confident and committed to going long with this, so if it means enduring 3-6 months of not being able to read as well as I used to, I will work around that
but I want to articulate like how difficult these transitions are. i've been "out of it" for over a week now

realistically i dont think this should last more than a week... it should be like getting used to new glasses, right? maybe a a few more days. idk. we'll see. will keep journalling

also a strange feeling i've felt is "I feel kinda dehydrated but I do not want to drink any water"
i'm also thinking I shd start increasing my caloric intake upon waking, like whether it's food or a protein shake or something, bc usually a morning cigarette suppresses appetite

fwiw i am pretty confident this means you need electrolytes, not just water
sodium is the easiest to test for (just add salt to the water until it tastes good), potassium and magnesium were the next things i had to incorporate (unflavored pedialyte and magsoothe respectively)

gatorade is a surprisingly good test also
