oh this is nice. a few days ago i tried beef fried rice cooked in coconut oil and while it felt amazing going down the coconut added a weird desserty aftertaste i didn't like. for some reason i kept expecting the taste of chocolate. avocado oil tastes much more appropriate

yeah this is my go-to method, unless I'm specifically making rice for something like an Indian dish (in which case I throw some ghee into the rice cooker)
