re: magnesium: two months later and it's hard to unequivocally rec because i've been doing a ton of stuff but somewhere between magnesium, sunlight, walks, dopamine detox, and probably social stuff i seem to have stopped having strong feelings of grief and fear all the time

here is my tentative recommendation for magnesium glycinate so far: it appears to be making me more anxious but in a good way specifically i suspect the anxiety is buried psychological material that i haven't felt safe enough to work with coming up

still getting little triggers but they're milder and easier to deal with, haven't had to bawl my eyes out or scream my throat hoarse in quite awhile it's nice but also confusing because now i have to figure out new things to do 😅

ahahaha that's wonderful! tbh "not knowing what I would do if I wasn't spending all my time triggered" was a huuuuge obstacle to my healing. visioning "a beautiful home connected to earth with loved ones and community, art / dance / massage / delicious food" helped a lot
