re: magnesium: two months later and it's hard to unequivocally rec because i've been doing a ton of stuff but somewhere between magnesium, sunlight, walks, dopamine detox, and probably social stuff i seem to have stopped having strong feelings of grief and fear all the time

here is my tentative recommendation for magnesium glycinate so far: it appears to be making me more anxious but in a good way specifically i suspect the anxiety is buried psychological material that i haven't felt safe enough to work with coming up

the initial effect i felt pretty much immediately; like i mentioned in the tweet from january the initial effect was actually that i became *more* anxious, but i had the tools at that point to consistently work through the anxiety and then felt better the rest of the day
