also i suddenly care intensely about how old babies are because the exact # of months makes such a huge difference developmentally. penny is noticeably more *looking at me* (and 8 months older)

the worst part about and moving tbh is i won’t get to see learn how to talk 😭

once you have two it becomes apparent how variable kids are even with really similar genetics and parenting
(but then you go meet other peoples' kids again and realize how similar yours are to each other)
