went back for another infrared sauna. they put me in a bigger cabin with a lower maximum temperature which was actually a lot worse of an experience, *but* i learned my sweat smells bad today and i’m p sure it’s bc i ate red robin yesterday

idk that i’ve ever smelled this particular bad smell on myself so strongly but i *have* smelled it on other people (and hated it) which is interesting. i assumed it was the genetic MHC thing but if it’s poor diet… hmm…

here’s an emerging picture and i don’t like it: 🔸smell is an important component of attraction 🔸ppl smell worse than they “should” for various reasons (diet, fungus, fear sweat, idk what else) 🔸industry of products that mask natural smell 🔸attraction signal lost

a test i’m thinking about now is to investigate how my sweat smells to myself and possibly other people after a fast, to minimize the effect of diet. hmm. science to be done here 🧐

i'm just a random internet guy but I would say don't sauna and fast at the same time. You will increase your likelihood of passing out/feeling very bad in the sauna. Also, yes. If you eat trash food, you will smell nasty(/ier).
