idk that i’ve ever smelled this particular bad smell on myself so strongly but i *have* smelled it on other people (and hated it) which is interesting. i assumed it was the genetic MHC thing but if it’s poor diet… hmm…

here’s an emerging picture and i don’t like it: 🔸smell is an important component of attraction 🔸ppl smell worse than they “should” for various reasons (diet, fungus, fear sweat, idk what else) 🔸industry of products that mask natural smell 🔸attraction signal lost

Before the advent of extremely frequent bathing and use of soap, people were probably covered in a bacteria that most of everything else is covered in. It “eats” ammonia (per/sweat smells). Soap & deodorant kill it. You can buy it here.

Have been using it for years. I obviously wash my hands w soap allll the time but not my body. No deodorant. NO SMELL unless very stressed (or killed my biome in a chlorinated swimming pool etc.). I’ve asked *many* friends to confirm my lack of smell. TL;DR your bacteria smell.
