I felt such a strong sense of love and belonging at

But then it all came pouring out as a poem

When and I sank into the grass at night
Even though there were no stars in sight
Just so we could enjoy each other’s presence
In silence under the moonlight

And read her poems only to realize
That behind all that fiery passion lies
Untold depth and the power to hypnotize

I was never expecting us
To be so vulnerable with each other in that little space
And feel completely seen under each other’s gaze

Who was so unassuming and intelligent and told us a beautiful tale
About living on land and flying in the sky
I thought life can be so amazing if you don’t let it pass you by

And in the morning light
Feeling my heart pumping and my body alive
I felt so grateful to have these lovely women in my life

Unable to believe what a good time we were having
We felt so easy in each other’s company
Like long lost friends who were once part of the same symphony

When I was chatting with and learned that he has had
So many of the same experiences as me, I was glad
To have found a friend who understood my life’s journey
Surprised to have connected so quickly with someone who didn’t even know me
