i can’t find it but has written about how in his coaching he kept running into people who have entire novels in them but were convinced they couldn’t be writers there’s a lot of y’all like this out here and i want so much for you to find the encouragement you need

once described tpot to me as something like “people who should’ve been theater kids” and i can’t get it out of my head. felt very seen and i am not the only one with an artist inside trying to come out, i saw some of you bitches at the poetry reading

There's someone in TPOT who everyone knows is a good poster, who I know, privately, is an off-the-charts talented poet, who makes work that's tender and sexy and idiosyncratic and wonderful And it makes me wonder how much talent is buried around here I think: a huge amount

I mean, we've invested a lot of time and energy telling everyone that the system is rigged and it's not worth trying because of all the unfairness that can't be surpassed so... maybe try telling people they can make their dreams a reality and see how that goes?
