"ime," okay, so in your experience it's not very exhausting. have you considered that perhaps there exists a large diversity of neurotypes (and levels of social experience/fluency) and your experience does not generalize to all or even most people?

like it would be really easy to say "yeah, I don't know why these ESL kids think speaking english is cognitively demanding or difficult, it requires zero effort, I can speak it fluently with no difficulty pronouncing words, even when I'm tired and sleep deprived."
