Then there’s the teahouse DJ. I don’t have permission to tag him, but he set the tone for the teahouse with a *24 hour continuous set* from Saturday morning onward.

Speaking of warm vibes, brought us the amazing rug and other soft things that transformed a cold concrete woodworking studio into a cozy lounge. Others brought soft things, too, to cover the mattresses (not sure who, feel free to tag yourselves).

Friday night, we couldn’t find the teaware and tea we ordered. Tea rituals on Friday would not have been possible without , who brought teaware (and Go! And Ukelele!), and , who brought her stash of fine teas from Verdant.

Also immensely grateful for , who took delivery of our tea and teaware from Verdant, brought amazing Chai, and brought a temperature controlled gooseneck kettle that made serving green teas competently much more tractable.

Friday night, the teahouse was a victim of its own success: we had created the only chill space, and it was slammed with >65 people β€”not cozy! I was grumpy, and seriously considering a velvet rope for Saturday. I’m grateful to for vetoing this (bad) idea, and…

…so, so grateful for for addressing the problem by creating the pillow fort on Saturday, a second chill space that took all crowding pressure off of the teahouse.
