so recently i heard the advice to not ask clients questions during coaching / therapy and i've been chewing on it
Conversation
In ordinary convo I've noticed that some people want to be interrogated or think you don't care, while for some questions feel like invasion of privacy. I tend to volunteer info and wish others would do the same but it can also be seen as overshare. Negotiation takes energy.

hmm well i think some people really want others to be visibly interested in / curious about them, and direct questions can be a great way to signal that, while other people are wary of getting too much / the wrong sort of attention from others. tricky stuff!
