4. no game no life opening (it only has one, 2nd season when): this game by konomi suzuki. probably one of the most instantly recognizable instrumental intros of any opening, great energy, would rec this anime too

(the anime diverges from the manga in the second half which is responsible for the weird ending which i think is thematically unsatisfying personally. this series could use a brotherhood-like reboot that follows the manga faithfully)

6. pet girl of sakurasou ending 1: days of dash by konomi suzuki. the instrumental in the beginning is used to punctuate some emotional moments in the anime and it works well. cute show, cute song, a rare ending that is superior to the opening

7. seven deadly sins opening 2: seven deadly sins by MAN WITH A MISSION. the first verse is entirely in english and the lyrics slap, chorus has some beautiful energy. can't rec this anime, they switch to a much worse animation studio and it gets awful

lol i kept wishing this anime would get better and it never did but i watched so much of this show while lifting weights on one particular summer that this opening sequence/song holds a special place in the psyche
