how would i go about making my room smell a little nicer? go to the mall and test out scented candles? something less likely to start a fire?

alright we are starting with re-buying a coway. i bought one of these in 2016 off the wirecutter rec to deal with allergies, came in handy during wildfire season, runs incredibly quietly and you can taste / smell the difference in air quality

i had to leave mine behind when i left california (i don't remember whether i tossed it or gave it to someone) and then i felt too... guilty or something to buy a new one? that was dumb, my sleep's probably been slightly counterfactually worse this whole time without it

went to BB&B to test out some scents and good lord some of these smelled so good i got a little turned on. learning a lot today. ended up buying golden myrrh, bamboo leaf & black lotud, and cranberry patchouli in wax form to test

this person who DM'ed me is not wrong, very useful side effect of having a big account is being able to get lots of replies to my random life questions like this, thanks everyone!

cranberry patchouli wax in a wax warmer is working well so far! i was worried the smell would be too strong but it's pleasantly subtle so far. apparently cleaning the wax out is a bit annoying, sadly

I've had large accounts do interesting things just by dropping simple queries to the masses.
Managed to crowdsource a general diagnosis of a friends aunt based on her symptoms and history.
The twitter randos called it more accurately than her own doctors had up till that point.

Every time I see this muscle flexed in public I am, I must admit, jealous enough to briefly entertain trying to tweet regularly.
