game state when i gave up. i was looking for words that completed phrases like "this is the ____ option" and "latter" does actually kinda fit before the word "option" but i was thinking words that implied something was better vs. worse

I got the strong guess "lesser" (989/1000) very early on but still didn't manage to crack the case... 😔

it's strange, I feel like I should have been able to guess it... I was on the right track, with a bunch of words that are used for intra-document reference, like "consequently" (907), "hence" (987), "thus" (991), "aforementioned" (997), but forgot about former/latter somehow 🤦

I wonder by what the criterion the creator felt that "latter" was an unfair word. In hindsight it was hard but not really unreasonable, I feel 🤔
