Yesterday’s word was “tail.” After I got it (guess #100) I put in “follow” to see its score.
1.31, extremely cold. For a direct synonym.
I lost faith in the game at that point.

Replying to
word2vec doesn't measure semantic similarity! you have to think about where words occur in the training set (which apparently is newspaper articles). "tail" much more likely to occur in descriptions of animals

Ok, well, I guess, not knowing the inner magics behind the training set means — for me at least — this is a lot more arbitrary. But if it delights you or others, that’s awesome :)
