“time pressure” is weirdly misnamed. it’s not time that’s exerting the pressure, it’s pretty much always other people. maybe occasionally a bomb

Time is the lever, your internalized norms and social obligation(s) the fulcrum and the force is applied by externalities. Usually other people directly, often other people indirectly and only rarely asynchronous to direct human force *on* the lever EG climate change timetable(s)

i don't have to play the best move if i find the second best move twice as fast as you do
wish it worked a lil better in life; sometimes the best move rlly does matter

i think past humans were very used to the concept of real time pressure, in the sense that you had to find enough food to eat and water to drink. now that those things are mostly not real pressures anymore we just point the same kinds of priority response at different things.

Time always gets a bad rap. It's the only thing that's always been there for you and always will be!

Time is a linear counter that alludes between points of perspective.
More points of perspective create more "pressure" to focus on the most efficient point.
