game state when i gave up. i was looking for words that completed phrases like "this is the ____ option" and "latter" does actually kinda fit before the word "option" but i was thinking words that implied something was better vs. worse

Yesterday’s word was “tail.” After I got it (guess #100) I put in “follow” to see its score.
1.31, extremely cold. For a direct synonym.
I lost faith in the game at that point.

word2vec doesn't measure semantic similarity! you have to think about where words occur in the training set (which apparently is newspaper articles). "tail" much more likely to occur in descriptions of animals
