does anyone know any way at all of blocking someone on slack? an extension, an integration, anything that lets me stop seeing anything from a particular user. i found a chrome extension that mostly doesn't work

Thanks for the feedback! Blocking users doesn't fit our focus as a tool built for team collaboration, however if you or another user are running into any issues with other members, please reach out to your workspace admins/owners or managers, who should be able to assist.

This may be a category error. If it’s a “community” Slack, that’s ultimately a misuse of Slack’s product which they actively disincentivize, and the community would be better served by Discord or Zulip or something. If it’s at a workplace, this should be an HR remedy.
