so i'm listening to a podcast with an obviously brilliant and quite knowledgeable meditation teacher, but he just said that no matter how wonderful the day's experiences will be, it's dreadful to be roused from sleep because unconsciousness is great, and... no ?? ???? what?

the more manic i am the earlier i naturally want to wake up and the more i look forward to all the things i could do while awake so maybe the dude is depressed 🤔

idk if he's depressed, maybe he just really likes unconsciousness, whatever makes you happy my guy, but it's just weird to me??????
