read a tweet recently that said "we've been domesticated by modern society/culture" and this totally tracks with that imo. like there's this shared belief that "a good human doesn't move weirdly/scream/shake". it's DEEPLY enforced through school time to throw that belief tf away

if shaking and making loud sounds is the way animals (like US!!!) release stress from our nervous system, that means the constant suppression of movement (framed as "manners"πŸ™„) we learned in school, is literally DIRECTLY connected to anxiety, depression, and other issues! WTF
