by now it's kinda impossible to shake off the idea, looking at my brothers and my half brother the only intelligible reality is that we inherit some ADHD from my mom and some autism from my dad, although my parents only have semi-latent variants themselves?

My parents are both extremely extroverted but my maternal grandmother and my paternal grandfather, though they had good social skills overall, spent a lot of their free time reading books and would often retreat from being social to do it. I identify w them the most.

Thinking about this more, my parents are both very ADHD, which I don't have, but I would say that the two grandparents that I spoke of did not have ADHD but did have some autism traits, which I do have. Spectrum disorders are so interesting in how they present.
