for anyone who feels desperate, or like they'll never recover: don't give up. i had four autoimmune diseases, was anorexic, depressed, socially isolated, unemployed and resigned to being miserable for the rest of my life. took me 2 decades but i did it, i'm healthy and happy now

damn it was long, and i *don't* think it needs to be this way for everyone, i was a mess... -a couple of decades of seeking and meditation -ego death in 2020 (natural, not induced by drugs) -2021 shadow work, dismantling my superego and quitting alcohol and drugs

i know i'm genetically fortunate and have always been attractive, but you'd think these pics should be in opposite order. you can see the transformation from five years ago to now:

haha someone thought part of the difference was a nose job! the change is from losing inflammation and puffiness. i have ehlers-danlos (a not-so-"rare disorder"), which can lead to autoimmunity if you aren't careful

both. there's some correlation ime. and it's really not rare, because the diagnostic criteria are simple: just joint hypermobility. that's EVERY "double-jointed" kid in everyone's class. i'd estimate it at ~5%

Yeah I figured out something was 'off' long before my diagnosis because I can pull my arms out of the sockets and behind my back But only after getting engrossed into certain weird social spaces (most of which fall solidly on the 'intellectual' or 'spiritual' side of things)-

i was quoting a piece by which i've been thinking about on and off for awhile, it also has a bit about gender stuff

i don't mean for this to sound cool or edgy it's intended as an observation about what it seems to me we're *already* doing. as far as i know basically nobody chooses this and we're doing it because we feel like we have no choice arcove.substack.com/p/null-call

Quiet, sensitive depressed, check Sleeping disorder, check Unusual flexibility, check Trauma, check Parents are alive, but I cannot speak to them as I am the one that "died" Grandpa was a priest and 'psychic' What a profoundly weird thing to read
