i tried to listen to some ideal parent figure protocol youtube videos today, but they kept having totally wack chime music in the background with weird stereo panning my ideal parents would not put on totally wack chime music

i had to ignore all the guided meditations and just do my own thing for this sort of reason, just had to personalize the whole thing extensively to what actually made me feel safe and comforted and etc.

it took awhile to get to this point but right now i can do stuff like, if i allow myself to feel things and what comes up feels like a panicky young child part, my ideal mother can soothe that young child part in like 5 seconds to a minute depending
